Usage :-
- Millets are used in various Indian dishes such as Khichadi, Pulav, Upma etc. Barnyard Millet can be washed several times and left in water for 5 to 8 hours. It can also be sprouted or directly used to make Idli/Dosa Batter. The pre-soaked/sprouted Foxtail millet can then be dried and milled to form flour. This flour can be used to make chapatis, puris, breads and cookies.
- The washing, soaking, and sprouting process removes anti-nutrients from the millet and makes it easier to digest.
